Building on the practical skills we picked up in the beginner lessons, we’ll now show you slightly more advanced upholstery techniques and pieces of furniture to help you keep growing in confidence and skill.

What you will learn

Our intermediate lessons start by looking at a few different cushion types including a bench seat and a piped fixed cushion.

We then look at upholstering a more complex French style (carver frame) chair with a very luxurious end result.

Intermediate makers will then undertake the scatter cushion masterclass with techniques that can be applied to cushions of all shapes and sizes.

Finally, you'll journey through our easy-to-follow sofa course as we show you how to rebuild and upholster a sofa, one part at a time.
